The story of the Swedish guy that came to America to pursue his dreams goes as follows.
I was 18 years old when I came here in the fall of 1995. I was born and raised in southern Sweden, in a little town by the name of Trelleborg.
I came because I wanted to improve my English, see the world, and discover the grand and so famous "land of opportunities." - the United States of America.
My choice of selecting what was then called Eastern Oregon State College (now EO University (!)) depended on a few things. First, they don't charge out-of-state tuition here (that's always nice!). Second, it's in the beautiful state of Oregon (nature, coastal state - although the college is very far from coastal). In the catalogue I had it said that it was semi-hard to get in (meaning higher quality). And on top of all that, I had superb help from Mrs. Terral Schut (the international student advisor), to whom I owe a great debt of gratitude.
Of course being away from home for this long is hard. One starts missing old friends and family. I have three brothers and a sister, they're all younger than me. Someday soon I'll post some pictures of them all :)
Oh yeah, my roommates are Tim Severance and Kevin Haye They are both awesome. This year we are living in an apartment together and loving it! I enjoyed living in the dorms, 'cause you have a bunch of friends that are always around, and you never get bored. But they kinda disagreed with being loud and partying etc, so we moved out :)

FINALLY, I put a picture up of myself, often
requested but never had a scanner...
There it is...
